A special programme cover was produced for the game against Easington Colliery on the the 12th November with the club badge being replaced by a poppy. The cover was for Remembrance Day on the Sunday and to commemmerate the end of hostilities on the 11th hour, of the 11th day of the 11th month which saw the end of World War I.
