I haven't updated for a little while and while I was away the club departed company with manager Chris Blakelock. This followed the 1-0 home defeat to Tow Law Town and then the 3-0 away defeat to Stockton Town. In fairness Chris had not had the rub of the green with regard to player availability but with only two draws to our credit from the beginning of the season the club felt it had to act sooner rather than later in bringing about an upturn in fortune. The club would like to go on record and thank Chris for all his endeavours in doing his best for the club. He came to the fore at the end of last season when we were looking for a replacement and, as we say, we thank him for that. Good luck Chris in what ever direction you go in next.
